Why Don’t We Find Time for the Important Stuff?

What’s something you really want to achieve in life? Something you’ll regret not having done at the end of your life?

How much progress have you made with it? Or have you reasoned yourself out of it altogether?

It’s all because you’re too busy, right? Perhaps when you have more time, you can get started on it.

As the saying goes, if you want something done, ask a busy person. At some point you have to ask yourself if you really don’t have time, or if you’re scared of failing.

So what can we use to try to circumvent this? The challenge mindset begins the process, but let’s use a good hack to get you on track.

A task in your calendar is more likely to get done than a task on your to-do list because you know when you’re going to do it and you can ringfence it.

Chop your process into tasks, estimate how long each will take then put the time in the calendar like an appointment. Then safeguard that time as if it were a meeting with someone important. Because it is!

It’s a meeting with your future!
