HABITS ARE THE MOST RELIABLE WAY TO DELIVER YOUR PROCESS AND REACH YOUR GOAL
That’s because habits aren’t decisions, so you can’t talk yourself out of them.

They are pure behaviour – so you don’t need courage, and fear doesn’t get to voice its opinion. It’s great to have your fear voice shut up!

Habits need careful building – they need a trigger (something that happens to set off the behaviour), the behaviour itself and the reward.

So typically it goes ‘whenever/as soon as I do x/finish y, then I do this’.

The key to embedding is repetition. The key to repetition is making it super easy. So don’t make it a challenge, start with tiny behaviours and build up.

It’s hard to get your head around, but this is not about self-discipline and achievement, it’s about making it so easy that you can not do it.

What can you do to turn a desired behaviour into a habit? And what can you do to make it more enjoyable and easier still so that it’s more likely that you’ll repeat it and therefore embed it as an automatic habit?
