James Dyson created 5,127 prototypes of his vacuum cleaner before launching. And just as many times he asked himself ‘I wonder if it would work better if I tried doing this ….’
You’ve started your quest to reach your goal, now you have to build your behaviours to make it stronger.
Examine your behaviour, your responses to what you’re doing and if something’s not quite working, try tinkering with it a little.
The first step is to be aware of your behaviour and thought processes and to evaluate (not judge) them. Are they working? Is it too hard? How can make them more reliable?
Can we make them easier or more enjoyable, can we make them more automatic?
If doing one thing is making you do another – is that what you want?
Be curious and experiment. Be your own rat in your own maze. Observe carefully. Get curious. Try stuff.
Want an external perspective. Try Women’s Accelerator – there’s nothing like a third party to highlight what you’ve missed.
Get curious, be your own lab rat!
